Shaking Beef Bowl

Ingredients 

For the beef:
3 lbs flank steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 red onion, sliced

For the sauce:
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
4 garlic cloves, minced

For the bowl:
Shredded lettuce
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Steamed rice

 

Instructions 

Place the beef in a slow cooker.

In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients, then pour over the beef. Add the sliced onion and stir to combine.

Cook on low for 6 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Serve the beef and onions over rice, and top with shredded lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Add any additional vegetables you have on hand.
